Cheyenne Bottoms:
From the intersection of Hwy 281 (Main Street) & Hwy
56 (10th Street), go north on Hwy 281 for six miles, then
turn east two miles on NE 60 Rd to the Cheyenne Bottoms Headquarters.

Conservancy's Cheyenne Bottoms Preserve
Quivira NWR:
Take Hwy 281 south from Great Bend for about 21 miles, then14
miles east on NE 70th Street and one mile north to the Visitors
Center. Locals who want to visit only Wildlife Drive on the
north edge of Quivira, go 7 miles south of Great Bend to the
Barton County/Stafford County Road (SE 170, a sand/gravel/blacktop
road). Go due east for 8.3 miles, 4 miles south, and 4 miles
east to the center of QNWR. Go 10 miles south on 281 and 9
miles east.
